Future dates for the LADO formal half-day training sessions on Managing Allegations Procedures (incorporating HR-related processes) will be available bi-monthly from May onwards. Further details on the dates for 2022 and how to book will be published shortly.
The Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) service can also provide more informal 1 to 2 hour briefing sessions to group such as community, voluntary or sports organisations, faith groups or language schools.
Our briefing sessions are more discussion-focussed, and can be useful in grouping together specific job roles and considering frequently asked questions or as a form of networking with similar function groups whilst also becoming familiar with LADO colleagues. In discussion, the LADOs will need to prioritise the availability of briefing sessions requested. You can contact the LADO service here:
