Family contact service

We are a child-centred contact service which helps looked-after children see their birth families and supports families going through a separation.

Our dedicated family contact centre provides a safe, neutral and comfortable place for children to see non-resident parents or family members.

Who we help

  • looked-after children
  • families going through a separation (for example, divorce)

What we offer

  • a safe, supportive and fun environment for young people (from new-born to teenagers) to support them at what may be a difficult time
  • a place where families can play together, cook together, eat together and be together
  • highly trained and committed staff, with enhanced DBS certificates who are skilled in supporting children and families
  • more than 15 years' experience of delivering contact services
  • free on-site parking for all users

We're also fully accredited members of the National Association of Child Contact Centres. We work closely with the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service, private law firms, other local councils and families.

Our other services include court reports, parenting assessments and attendance at court.

  • to make sure everyone is clear about what has been agreed, we ask all family members to sign a contract of expectations
  • if you decide to go ahead with the booking, our referrals team work with you to finalise all the details
