Under Section 172L(6)(a) of the Business and Planning Act 2020 the holder of a premises licence must ensure that a statement is kept at the premises which makes it clear that the premises are being used for the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises (if not already licensed to do so) and/or restrictive conditions have been temporarily suspended.
In order to assist we have published two following templates:
- On Licences – this is for premises not currently licensed for off sales
- On and off Licences – this is for premises currently licensed for both on and off sales which have restrictive conditions on their licence in respect of off sales.
These templates have been produced to assist premises to create one which works for them and for their own use. It is not a permission granted by BCP Council.
