We are actively lobbying for faster rail journey times to London, with an ambition to achieve Bournemouth to Waterloo in under 90 minutes, while also working in partnership with Network Rail and Dorset Council to improve connections from our area to the west, through the Dorset Connectivity Strategy.

This work is securing additional trains for the BCP area and neighbouring stations, while the Western Gateway sub-regional transport body is developing a wider rail strategy including our city region.
