The Youth Panel focus group of young people from the BCP Forum was created in June 2021.

This group designed the criteria, information pack and promotional material for the BCP Youth Fund 2021, as well as meeting to assess the bids and award the money.

What was funded in 2021?

The Youth Fund was extremely successful in attracting a wide range of bids despite the timeframe for applications being quite tight. The bids received were of excellent quality and the £25,000 could have been spent several times over.

Five projects received part, or all of the funding they had applied for.

• SPECTRA (Dorset & Wilts Fire Service) £5,180
• Level 1 Parkour Coaching Qualifications for Young People £2520
• support for a deprived group of students engaged in learning with a focus on Environment and gardening £2500
