The Workforce Development Fund 2023/24

The Workforce Development Fund (WDF) comes from the Department of Health and Social Care and is disseminated by Skills for Care. It supports adult social care providers to claim back money towards the costs of staff completing a range of adult social care qualifications and learning programmes.

Partners In Care has been awarded a WDF for 2023/24.

Eligibility to claim WDF from Partners In Care

This fund is available to all adult social care providers, in the Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset areas. You must become a WDF partnership member and be registered and compliant on ASC-WDS (previously known as NMDS-SC). If you are not registered with ASC-WDS, you can create an account. Your ASC-WDS account must be compliant. Further information can be found on the Skills for care website.

Training must be completed between 1 January 2023 and 31 March 2024. All claims must be submitted to Partners in Care by 27 March 2024 to be processed within 2023/24 funding year. Email your completed Member's declaration form 2023/24 to picare@bpc.ac.uk.

Qualifications you can claim for

The fund covers a range of eligible qualifications and learning programmes, from Level 2-5 diplomas and apprenticeships in care to training in specialised areas such as dementia, autism, and end of life. View the full list.
