97% of families from Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have been offered a reception place at one of their preferred schools today (Thursday 16 April 2020).
All parents who applied on-line will be able to log on from 10.00am to view the result of their application. Letters will be sent to all parents who applied by the closing date of 15 January 2020.
Across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole there are sufficient school places for all local children for September 2020.
Councillor Sandra Moore, Cabinet member for Children and Families, said: “We are pleased that we have been able to offer 97% of parents one of their preferred schools for their children to attend from September across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Where families have not been offered a place at their preferred school it is recommended that they contact the school they have been offered and take the opportunity to find out what would be available for their child.”
