Council Tax bills for 2021/22 are now being sent to homes and emailed to those residents who have signed up for e-billing.

The Council Tax you pay contributes to funding your local council services, any parish or town councils as well as emergency services provided by police and fire and rescue.

During March and April our customer services teams are extremely busy. If you choose to call us, please be aware that you will experience significant waiting times. To save you waiting on the phone, visit our website pages to:

  • find Council Tax and financial information
  • make a payment
  • sign up for Direct Debit
  • opt for paperless billing
  • apply for a discount
  • change your address.

On a low incomeor struggling to pay?

Customer services during COVID-19

Our main customer centres are closed to walk-in visitors, until further notice, due to national lockdown restrictions. Our payment kiosks will also be closed during this time, please pay your Council Tax online, use the automated payment line or set up a Direct Debit. Appointments are available if needed, please contact us to make the arrangements.
