'I really enjoyed the bike maintenance course. Nigel was excellent; he is very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us lots of good tips and has given me more confidence to have a go at fixing my bike, even my gears! Thank you.'
'Just a note following the course Daniel and I attended last night. It was a really useful session, a good mix of talk and hands-on. Nigel is a great instructor, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and he was happy to answer additional questions. He showed us how to inspect our bike frame and take off the wheels, how to change an inner tube, the M-check, cleaning the chain and adjusting brakes and gears. Nigel explained everything very well and he took the time to make sure we understood what he was showing us, what tools we might need and what to do with them.'
'Just wanted to email to thank you for providing a great learning course. I feel so much more confident.'
'Please can you pass on my thanks to Nigel. The course he ran was superb. Nigel is obviously a credit to the council, he was totally professional, friendly and passionate about his subject. Thanks to all in arranging this course.'
'The session last night was excellent. Nigel taught us so much. I can't believe how much I learnt in 2 hours. Thank you. I was the only female so you could say that's it's suitable for everyone.'
'I just wanted to say thank you. Last night's bike maintenance course was exactly what I needed and I know have a bit more confidence about sorting out any small problems I might have. Nigel Winter is an excellent instructor. Very patient and he doesn't make you feel a bit daft asking what might seem to be a bonkers questions. He was terrific. I had a puncture and thanks to Nigel I was able to replace the inner tube (I have a spare) during a 40 mile ride. It was a thin sliver of slate.'
'Just to say we both thoroughly enjoyed the course last Tuesday. Please pass on our thanks to Nigel, who was extremely knowledgeable, patient and very good at explaining everything he showed us. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants a basic understanding of bike maintenance.'
