Report litter, rubbish or overflowing bins
We provide cleaning services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole roads, beaches, parks and green spaces.
The nature of the service can vary depending on location, volume of users, night time economy and the time of year such as autumn leaf fall.
Services include:
- periodic sweeping of residential roads and pavements where needed (every 12 to 16 weeks) - more frequent in busy town centres and main roads
- emptying of over 3,000 public waste bins
- collecting sharps, broken glass and litter
- scheduling leaf collection during the autumn and winter months
- undertaking treatment of pavement weeds.
We cannot:
- sweep all roads and pavements every week, or to a greater frequency
- clean under or between tightly parked cars
- provide dates or agree times for cleansing visits, due to the availability of resources and or emergency works or weather impacts
- routinely clean street furniture unless there is a danger
- reach every waste bin before it is full - during busy times we may be delayed
- collect leaves as they fall - at times many tonnes of leaves, needles and cones are stripped from trees during rainfall and high winds - these can take 4 to 6 weeks to clear
- collect or clean waste (including sharps) from private property.
Please help our teams by making sure you clear any litter outside your property and remove any weeds against your boundary. If our bins are full, please take your rubbish home with you.
