Our main customer centres are open again, but visits must be made by appointment only. This includes:
Kinson Hub will also be opening - please check our libraries reopening guidance for opening times and contact details.
In some circumstances your query may be answered without the need to come to one of the buildings. Please visit us online first - you can apply for services, report issues, tell us about changes and make payments without coming to our customer centres.
Customer appointments will be booked from 10am to midday and 2pm to 3pm. We are closed at 1pm for 1 hour so that the centres can be cleaned.
You can book an appointment by phone or by email, or you can use our online contact form.
Book an appointment to use our PCs
Appointments are needed to use a PC at the centres. Contact the service by phone and book at least one day in advance. There will be fewer PCs as they are spaced out for social distancing. We will clean the PCs between each use.
What to expect when you attend your appointment
Each face to face appointment will be limited to 45 minutes where possible. We will maintain social distancing rules and all areas will be cleaned between appointments.
Please attend your appointment alone where possible to help us maintain appropriate social distancing standards.
Please arrive on time for your appointment rather than early, as we must limit the number of customers in the waiting areas.
Security personnel will be on site to ensure customer and colleague safety and will have a list of all customers due to attend appointments.
Please do not visit if you have been unwell, had any coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, tested positive for COVID-19, or if a member of your household is self-isolating.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided and keep a safe distance from other visitors and colleagues.
If you are due to complete paperwork or need to take notes during your appointment, please bring your own pen and paper.
For safety, all customers are required to wear a face covering when visiting our sites as of 8 August. Please refer to the government guidance on face coverings, which also explains how to wear them correctly.
To ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues social distancing measures have been put in place. Clear signage can be found throughout the building to help you maintain a safe distance.
The appointment system aims to minimise queueing. However, should a queue form, please keep to the left, remain patient and respect social distancing and other pedestrians.
Our toilet facilities will be accessible during your visit and we ask that you comply with our handwashing guidance on display.
NHS Test and Trace
To help the NHS Test and Trace service, the Council is maintaining a temporary record of our visitors. The below information will be shared with the NHS if needed, in order to help contain clusters and outbreaks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- your name
- a contact telephone number
- the date of your visit
- your arrival and departure times
- the details of any staff member that you interact with
If we do not have this data already on our systems, you will be asked to provide it.
This data will be held for 21 days, at which point it will be securely disposed of and deleted. If you prefer that we do not share this data with the NHS, you can opt out. If you wish to do so, please notify a member of staff during your visit, or contact us.
