Bereavement services
Due to England being under National lockdown, bereavement offices will be closed to members of the public, but you can still contact us by emailing crematorium@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increased volumes of work this has caused, BCP Bereavement Services are having to place a hold on processing the following enquiries:
- jewellery and urns
- genealogy searches
- memorial benches within the cemeteries
- non-essential transfers of grave ownership
- pre-purchase of grave ownership
- Columbarium Niche
- Sanctum Vault
We are hoping to take enquiries from 1 February 2021 and would ask that you contact the department on or after this date. We are sorry that we cannot assist with these enquiries at this time.
All enquiries/orders regarding the above submitted to the offices prior to Friday 6 November will be honoured.
All enquiries being processed are taking longer to deliver due to COVID-19, with up to 12 weeks in some instances. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this.
