All schools, colleges and education settings are following BCP Council, Department for Education and Public Health guidance. Risk assessments have been carried out and hygiene measures are in place. Plans have been prepared to make sure any incidents are dealt with promptly and safely.

As of September 2021, we will no longer list schools with confirmed COVID-19 cases.

With national restrictions lifted, COVID-19 remains in circulation and we will continue to see positive cases in the community. Cases amongst school communities have become part of living with COVID-19. National guidance on schools and self-isolation has also changed significantly, so the impact on schools in terms of numbers of pupils self-isolating will be reduced.

Public health and schools teams will continue to work closely with schools to help them manage and respond to any COVID-19 outbreaks. Schools will keep parents and carers informed as required and Public Health Dorset will continue to provide regular updates on COVID-19 in Dorset.
