Household Support Fund

The government introduced the Household Support Fund in October 2021 to support vulnerable households with essentials over winter. This scheme has been extended until 30 September 2022 to help eligible people with rising living costs.

About the fund

We are working in partnership with Citizens Advice BCP to administer the fund.

Applications opened on Monday 6 June for eligible pensioners and working age people. The support will be provided via supermarket vouchers.

Please note that the working age fund has now closed. We encourage you to use the community food support resources below or contact Citizens Advice BCP via the Adviceline on 0808 278 7939 or at our outreaches if you need further advice and guidance.

Vouchers will be issued to pension age residents in the BCP Council area with savings of less than £10,000.

Residents can apply online or visit their local Citizens Advice office to complete their application.
