Three families, currently waiting on the Council housing register are due to move in at the end of the month.

Councillor Kieron Wilson, Cabinet Member for Housing, said: “We are very committed to providing more Council housing across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. After seeing the hard work going into it during construction, I’m delighted to see the completion of this latest scheme. These fantastic homes will provide much needed family accommodation, owned and managed by the Council.’’

The Council’s inhouse construction team built the new scheme on the site of four blocks of unused garages in Charminster Close. The new homes will incorporate increased thermal insulation and triple glazing.
