Access to Leisure and Learning
Important changes to the Access to Leisure and Learning (ATL&L) scheme
We are currently reviewing the ATL&L scheme with a view to an improved, fairer scheme that offers equal access to residents across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
During the review period, the following changes will be applied.
Current ATL&L card holders with a membership that expires after 31 August 2022
Your membership has been extended until 31 March 2024. We will not be issuing new cards and you should continue to use your current card at participating venues, who will accept it beyond the expiry date until the new scheme is launched.
New applications will pause on 1 September 2022
From 1 September, residents who meet the eligibility criteria will not be able to apply in person or online for an ATL&L membership, for the length of the review period.
Residents who were not an ATL&L member prior to 1 September 2022
After 1 September 2022, and until a new council discount scheme is launched, anyone wanting to take part in discounted activities at the three Everyone Active leisure centres in Poole can apply to Everyone Active. They will provide the same concessionary discount to those who meet the criteria of the ATL&L scheme. Contact 01202 677217 or email email@example.com.
