You can now access our homechoice website
Once your application is received, you may receive a call from one of our Housing Advisors to discuss your Housing Options if not, you will receive a letter from us about your application
Please make sure to read our Allocations Policy.
You are now able to upload your own documents:
- Log in to your account and click ‘Add supporting documents to my application’
- Choose the necessary document types for household members from the drop down list. For example; passport, child benefit award letter or a doctors or OT letter for a medical issue.

Important information for applicants previously registered on Dorset Homechoice for the Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole Register
If you still have a housing need and would like to be considered for a property through the BCP Housing Register, you are now Invited to apply.
You will need to submit a new application to be considered for the BCP Housing Register. (This is required, as your previous application was for a legacy authority, and your new application is for the BCP register.)
We know you may be concerned about losing your previous effective date, however, if you apply between the 1st September and the 31st December 2021, your application is considered eligible and you have a housing need, you will retain your previous effective date up to a maximum of 5 years.
