Let us know about someone you’ve seen sleeping rough.
This form only takes a couple of minutes to complete, and you’ll need to tell us the location of the person who is sleeping rough.
You can report someone sleeping rough anywhere in England and Wales, and the details will be sent to the local council for that area.

Rough Sleeper Assertive Outreach & Engagement Service
This service aims to reduce rough sleeping and the problems associated with rough sleeping. The outreach team provide services including street outreach to people who are street homeless to ensure that rough sleepers are:
- provided with information, advice and support to access accommodation
- able to access emergency accommodation in severe weather
- reconnected to their own community if they do not have a local connection to the area
- encouraged to access services and support for health and wellbeing
- linked to services which can support their own and others' safety.
People in housing need or homeless, but not rough sleeping, should be directed to local housing services.

Streetlink is an England-wide phoneline, website and mobile app which enables the public to alert local authorities about people sleeping rough in their area.
The information you provide will be swiftly passed on to the local rough sleeper outreach team.

Please provide as much information as possible. The team deliver an outreach service, so are not always in the office, but your message will be listened to and followed up at the earliest opportunity.
