Highcliffe and Walkford Neighbourhood Planning Referendum 2022
On Thursday 15 December 2022, registered voters in the Highcliffe and Walkford Parish Council area made their views known in a referendum.
The ballot paper asked: "Do you want BCP Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Highcliffe and Walkford to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
If more than 50% of voters are in favour, the Plan must be formally adopted.
Polling stations have now closed and the results have been counted.
- Number of votes for Yes: 1681 - 86%
- Number of votes for No: 274 - 14%
- Turnout: 16.89%.
