Full council is a meeting of all Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole's 76 councillors. It is chaired by Councillor David Flagg. 

The full council:

• sets the budget and policy framework
• appoints membership of council committees
• debates issues important to area. 

Some business can only be agreed during full council meetings, such as:

• setting council tax
• appointing the leader 
• approval of certain plans and strategies.
