Full council
Full council is a meeting of all Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole's 76 councillors.
The full council:
- sets the budget and policy framework
- appoints membership of council committees
- debates issues important to area.
Some business can only be agreed during full council meetings, such as:
- setting council tax
- appointing the leader
- approval of certain plans and strategies.
