Adult social care emergencies (out of hours)

If someone's life or property is at risk, always call 999.

Our out of hours team provide an emergency response for adults in need of community care support in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole, who are in crisis or need urgent help.

Textphone and Relay UK app

If you are deaf, have hearing loss or are speech impaired, you can use the RelayUK service to contact us. Relay UK assisted calls are charged at your provider's usual rates and can be used on most devices including:

• tablets
• computers
• textphones

You will be connected to a Relay Assistant who will verbally relay the words you type to the person you're calling. The Relay Assistant will type the person's reply so you can read it on your display.

If you are a textphone (minicom) user, please dial 18001 before 01202 123654.

If you have downloaded the Relay UK app:

• open the app before dialling 01202 123654 on your device’s keypad
• the 18001 prefix will be automatically added

BSL (British Sign Language) support - for BSL support using a browser
