We are preparing a new Local Plan for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

The Local Plan will provide a strategy for growth over the next 15 years from 2029 to 2044 and include planning policies against which future development will have been assessed. It will be prepared under the government's proposals for a new plan making system.

Under the new plan-making system we are required to publish a notice of intention to commence Local Plan preparation. This notice provides communities and other stakeholders with advance notice of plan-making.
